Accuracy Press Institute, in cooperation with Omran Center for Strategic Studies and the Arab Center for Radio and Television Training, organized a dialogue seminar in Damascus on the future of media legislation in Syria.
The seminar took place on December 4 in Kafr Sousa and brought together journalists, researchers, and media professionals to discuss the legal and regulatory framework needed to support a professional and independent media sector in the post-Assad transitional period.
Participants addressed key issues related to freedom of expression, regulatory reform, professional standards, and the balance between media freedom and accountability. The discussion focused on the importance of developing modern media legislation that reflects the needs of a transforming Syrian society.
Through this seminar, API continues its efforts to contribute to constructive dialogue around media reform and to support the development of a responsible and sustainable media environment in Syria.
