API team worked for months , using various creative ways, on a strategic plan to develop the Syrian media.\nThis plan has crystallized our big dream and divided it into short, medium, and long term projects, and took\ninto consideration that all projects have to workout, regardless of changes in the political and security\nconditions. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe monitor the state of Syrian media and the role that\nit plays either positively by being an essential doer as\nan independent for pushing toward democracy, peace\nand human rights, Or negatively by promoting violence,\ndictatorship, extremism, and violation of human rights.\nWe also monitor other non-independent media\nplatforms such as, the Syrian regime, political and\nmilitary opposition groups, as well as extremists media\noutlets. This helps us to keep our work In line with the\nfield\u2019s needs\u2019 and for other policy makers or\ninternational organization who are interested. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe do provide continues specialized training to\nexperienced and non-experienced Syrian journalists and\nphotographers who are working in Syria, Turkey, or\nneighboring countries.\nSince Syrian journalists who live inside Syria find it\nimpossible to attend our trainings in person due to the\nmany obstacles of visa procedures, financial and\nsecurity situations; API started to develop various\ntraining materials such as video trainings, books,\nbooklets and tips for self training purposes. Our virtual\n\u201dJournalist Library\u201d also includes other materials which\nalso has been produced by third parties in different\nsections such as (code of ethics, law of media, media\nlanguage skills, fact-checking conflict reporting,\ninvestigative reporting, etc..)\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We publicize\njournalism and photography scholarships, fellowships,\njobs, festivals, awards, or training opportunities in our\nplatforms. We are also willing to partner with\ninternational universities and training academic centers\nto obtain long term academic studies for Syrian\nJournalists.

Over the past nine years, Accuracy Press Institute has delivered professional training programs in Gaziantep, Istanbul, Beirut, Idlib, Aleppo, and Damascus, as well as online. Our programs cover more than fifteen topics, including news writing and editing, investigative journalism, verification and fact-checking, writing for television, digital security, and media ethics.\nIn addition to training over 600 journalists, API has supported more than 30 media outlets by strengthening editorial standards and newsroom systems. Following the fall of the Assad regime, expanded media freedom created new opportunities \u2014 and new challenges, including hate speech, disinformation, and polarization.\nHundreds of our participants continue to work in local Syrian outlets as well as in international, governmental, and private media organizations, contributing to a more professional and accountable media environment.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
